I have over 22 years experience in the Mental Health industry, both in Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health. I specialize in addiction, addiction medicine and trauma. Experienced in all aspects of mental health counseling, including adult, and young adult. I am an integrative counselor, utilizing Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and believe that my client's needs be met with open, unconditional positive regard throughout each session.
Person-Centered Therapy is the primary modality of therapy utilized, along with other specialties. Throughout the therapy process, I work with my clients with an on-going treatment plan dependent on presenting issues. I believe that we all have the solution to our issues within us and create a safe, warm, welcoming space for the development of solution.
