Hi! My name is Dr. NaRicia Futrell I am a psychotherapist/licensed clinical social worker who has been practicing as a therapist for greater than 15 yrs. I currently hold a doctorate in social work and hold an LCSW in TN, MS AR, and TX and am certified in the trauma conscious yoga method. In assisting individuals we at Gihon, utilize wholistic approaches while working to empower individuals to find and utilize their own strengths in working through problems, managing their emotions, and utilize coping strategies/tools that will help to improve overall functioning.

I work with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and mood issues. I help persons and families address communication problems, unhealthy patterns, and rebuilding trust as well as relationship problems including infidelity and blended families and co-parenting. I work with and am welcoming of LGBTQ+ relationships, hetero relationships, poly relationships, kink, BDSM, and sex workers. Additional areas addressed include religious shame surrounding sexuality. I have completed graduate studies in religion and theology and assist persons in dealing with toxic religious wounds.

I offer virtual and in-person sessions in Texas and virtual-only sessions for residents of Arkansas. Thank you for taking the time to seek help and invest in yourself. Samantha Golden is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol Drug Abuse Counselor at Alleviant Health Centers of Little Rock. She believes in meeting the person where they are currently at and helping them work towards their desired goals while reducing symptoms to reduce challenges and increase healing.

Creating change is about embracing your future, not beating yourself (or others) up over the past. As a therapist, I focus on helping you figure out what "better" looks like and identifying the quickest route to get us there. Once we have that identified, I'll act as counselor, coach and traveling companion as you journey down that road. I'll be a fresh set of eyes that helps you figure out when you're being too hard on yourself and when you need to take a hard look in the mirror.

I have experience working with adults, children, and families, in-home & outpatient settings. Approaches & techniques which may be incorporated into sessions include those found in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, & Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), relaxation techniques, and play therapy techniques. As one of a limited number of providers in Northwest Arkansas with training in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), I assist sufferers of trauma, abuse, neglect, and many other distressing experiences improve functioning and healing relationships.

In today's world of stress and global issues, I want you to know that I am walking this journey with you. I have over 20 years experience in mental health across both community and inpatient settings. I own a private practice in Maumelle, Arkansas (Comprehensive Health Psychology & Testing) and provide tele-mental health across most state lines with licensure in Florida, Missouri, and PSYPACT credential. My treatment focus is strength-based on health and behavior change. I take an inquisitive and insight oriented approach, which I believe can empower you to obtain your best physical, mental, and emotional health.

Humans are capable of immense strength and growth. Often life can place limitations or obstacles in the way of achieving our goals. With the right support, one can overcome these opportunities, and what was an obstacle can become an opportunity for growth. As a gatherer of knowledge, researcher, and growth seeker myself, I find extreme joy in helping others attain a desire to grow into the best version of themselves. Jeanna started her career in mental health as a psychiatric case manager and then transitioned to a mental health therapist working for an outpatient clinic (office and school-based clients). She has been working in mental health for more than seven years and finds joy in helping others find their own path.

Life often throws curve balls at us, leaving us without direction, hurting, and unsure of ourselves as well as the world around us. In that time, we find ourselves behaving and feeling ways that are not true reflections of who we are. Things from our past can really haunt us if we don't process them. My ideal client wants to process what they have been through and make changes for their future selves.

With 20 years of experience working in the helping profession with children, adolescents, families and adults and the last 11 years serving as a licensed professional counselor, I am able to accurately and effectively evaluate and treat most issues arising within each of these groups and across multiple settings. I have a Master of Science degree and a Specialist in Education degree in Professional Counseling. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral, and Experiential Therapy approaches when working with individuals and families.

Leaning on my own experiences, knowledge, and ability to empathize, I walk alongside my clients on their path to recovery. Therapeutic practices I utilize on this path are CBT, DBT, REBT and MI.
