At Wholistic Health, we have multiple clinicians available to accommodate your needs. Specifically, we provide EMDR therapy which is helpful when a person is feeling “stuck” on a particular emotion or traumatic memory, as well as play therapy for kids and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or CBT for adults. DBT is focused on helping those who struggle with suicidal thoughts or feel like their emotions are in control of them.

Healing and recovery is possible. Change doesn’t come over night so it can seem daunting but in my 17 years of experience I have learned that people mainly want to be heard and validated. I will support ANYONE though ANYTIME, ANYTIME. I have experience working with grief, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, and mood instability. I value working with all ages, genders, backgrounds, and orientations. As a person centered and solution focused therapist we will begin where you are and move toward mental wellness. EMDR/CBT are effective tools to address concerns.

In counseling, my focus is to meet clients where they are, help them determine where they want to be, and enable them to accomplish their goals. Change is possible! It takes work, but it is worth it to become the person you want to be. I have seen clients rise above unbelievable challenges and accomplish their goals. I have also walked along side those who are grieving or hurting to see them blossom out of the depths of their experiences. In addition, I am trained in EMDR therapy to treat trauma.

They want to tackle some hurdles in their life and at times would like help to navigate those situations in best ways possible and sometimes that is where professional help comes in.

I have a passion for working with clients experiencing shame, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I’ve seen how these can manifest in a variety of ways, from problems with work and school, to rocky relationships, to substance abuse, to isolation. I’ve worked with folks dealing with prison reintegration, homelessness, grief, and rejection due to gender and sexuality. I have many years of experience in the field of helping others. It has been my goal throughout each of these experiences to help those I work with to find peace. I realize that it takes courage to begin the process of therapy and would be honored to be a part of your journey.
