Dr. Donaghy is a licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy and hypnosis for adults and children who present with a variety of issues. She has specialized training in conflict management, cancer, pain, disabilities, medical concerns, wellness, and medication management. She also treats depression, grief, anxiety, anger, and relationship problems. Her approach to therapy is based on extensive training, research, and publications. She offers individualized treatment for each patient, and integrates their spirituality/philosophy into the sessions as a means of strengthening existing resources.

Accepting new clients - The current situations in the world can make us feel lonely, heartbroken, or like giving up. This can be a very hopeless and dark place for many of us. Feelings of sadness can create emotions that we can't see an end to, or way out of. You might not have anyone that you think will understand or "get it", so giving up or living in isolation is the easiest solution, however, there are positive ways to cope and find the light at the end of the tunnel. We all need a way to overcome the storms in our lives, and feel peaceful in order to live the best life we can.

I have been in private practice for over 20 years. My experiences have included working with children, adolescents, and adults in coping with a variety of relationship problems, mental health, and substance use disorders.

We are all on a journey of some sort, whether it is one of healing, new beginnings, pleasure, or life transition. Sometimes we encounter storms and obstacles that shake us and may make us feel as if we are lost or maybe incapable of overcoming the storm. These storms may be recognized as anxiety, depression, loss of a loved one, job or home. Creating therapeutic trust and emotional safety are two of my greatest strengths in my practice. We will work with you to create an environment in which you can discover your own truth and authentic self, and increase your capacity to make healthy life choices and find fulfilling relationships.

Come experience therapy with one of our specialists. We offer individual counseling for anxiety and depression, panic disorder and OCD, couples counseling for a variety of concerns, including infidelity treatment, trauma and EMDR counseling, and help with sports performance. If cost is a concern, we also offer low-cost counseling with one of clinical counseling interns.

I offer support & skills for depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship conflicts, boundaries, parenting, spiritual challenges, & more. I especially work with you to develop a full sense of self. My goal is to challenge you to know who you are and how to both recognize and communicate wants and needs in relationships.

I enjoy doing all types of therapy for all different issues to include depression, anxiety, addiction/substance use and abuse, health and wellness, grief, trauma, parental alienation, developmental challenges, autism spectrum disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, codependency, work stress and relationship conflict. I work with people to identify treatment goals and create a treatment regimen that fits their needs which includes psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, behavior modification, interpersonal therapy, sport psychology and coaching.

At Strategies for Success, we offer a Problem Solving Approach to a Healthier Life. Where you experience barriers, we work hard to identify creative solutions. We will help you formulate your Strategy for Success to address areas of difficulty affecting functioning, motivation, relationships, communication and substance use. Our team approach to care may include psychotherapy, medication management, group classes, EMDR, neurofeedback or other services to help improve both mental health and physical health.
