I am passionate about helping individuals, couples and families live to their greatest potential and wholeness whether they are surviving from past hurts, trauma, depression, anxiety, or just need support. I have a passion to help couples create a deeper and more meaningful connection that will last their lifetime. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am a Professor in MFT at Azusa Pacific University and have a specialty in working with Couples, Sex Therapy and Sex Addicts & Partners. My practice is the San Diego Institute for Couples and Families, www.sdicouples.com.
The one therapy that fails the most is couples counseling, as most therapists have not taken a course in working with a couple. A good couple's therapist spends thousands of hours and dollars in advanced training that is ongoing vs. a workshop. I have that training as well as training in Sex Therapy and Sex Addiction and their Partners.
The clinicians in my practice and I are involved in weekly consultation and ongoing training with the best and most up to date trainers in the field. If I can not help you personally, most likely a clinician on my staff will be the right person for you.
