As an African American, former USC football running back, and current clinical psychologist, I am open to treating adults and adolescents, with behavior, emotional, psychological, and family struggles. I use various treatment methods and work to maximize an individual’s potential in an effort to improve their mental health. These methods include CBT, DBT, Family Therapy, addiction counseling, and couples counseling.
I specialize in working with adults and teens who have emotional and behavioral concerns. I also work closely with family members to help clients identify and work towards their treatment goals. Working to alleviate psychological distress is my passion and I have extensive training and experience.
When people meet with me, they can expect to feel engaged and comfortable. My philosophy encourages every patient to be an active participant in their own treatment. I also consider my ability to form a therapeutic alliance, based on acceptance and empathy, to be my most clinically effective quality.
