I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that specializes in anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, burnout, men's issues, and self-esteem. I am passionate about helping clients work towards coping, self-care, and personal growth. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgemental space. I aim to promote individual strengths by empowering my clients. I specialize and have knowledge in helping teachers, men with anxiety, working parents with young children, those struggling with self-esteem and those entering therapy for first time.

Through my decades of experience I have seen that we all struggle with feelings of not being "Good Enough" in some way. Whether that is smart enough, lovable enough, or many other not enoughs. We form these beliefs during our lives and many things trigger that NOT GOOD ENOUGH feeling. We may react emotionally when the "not good enough" feeling is triggered. EMDR & Mindfulness are great tools to help calm down our emotions so we have better control of them. My client's say I have an easy going and personable style. We want to help you to succeed in ALL areas of your life! Our counselors are approved providers with many insurance panels including BCBS Illinois, Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, and others. We also have a sliding fee scale for those clients who qualify and are self-pay.

My name is Sara Levi. My clinical work has focused on supporting youth, young adults, adults, families, and couples through the challenging moments in their lives. It can truly be difficult to find balance during life transitions, career and relational stress, loneliness, uncertainty, or managing after trauma, abuse, or losses. I respect the courage it takes to seek support and consider changes that can bring us to solid ground, and finding peace and joy. I help clients identify and leverage their strengths to grow in areas they are seeking development and peace.

My belief is to listen without making judgments, without giving advice, and to help my clients understand their feelings. I also believe the client is entirely capable of fulfilling their own potential for growth and change. Furthermore, I believe it is important for the client to experience self-actualization and experience the changes in the “here and now.” Change happens when a client has found a resolution after having an internal conflict with themselves in regard to meeting the needs and desires of the heart and mind. Personal growth is evidence of change and can be spontaneous without effort.

Believe it or not, these are very common and can make us feel alone. But the reality is, a lot of people have had them. Life throws us hurdles and although they may seem difficult, with the right tools and support they can be overcome. Society wants us to believe that becoming a parent is a storybook time in our lives. The fact is, parenthood can also be the most difficult, isolating, and confusing time.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Domestic Violence Professional. I am truly devoted to helping others through their pain and unhappiness. I have experience working with individuals who have endured intimate partner violence and emotional trauma from abusive relationships. My therapeutic style builds a strong counselor/client relationship, integrating solution-focused therapy, CBT, DBT, and strength-based styles. Although our past may have led us to this moment of crisis, it is our personal strengths which will allow us to move through our pain to a healthier life.

Amy Druzik is a Licensed Professional Therapist who brings with her 15+ years of experience in diverse therapeutic settings- in community social work and counseling experience. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Studies. Her experience includes work in domestic violence shelters, a child/adolescent residential center, in local high schools with students, and in private practice counseling firms. Her therapeutic approach is centered around her ability to build a strong empathetic and trusting relationship with each individual client.

I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults in all stages of life. I specialize in working with individuals who may be struggling to effectively manage their emotions, mental health issues, interpersonal relationships, or are experiencing an expected or unanticipated life transition. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been trained in a variety of client-centered, evidence-based programs over the course of my career.

Johanna Kasperski earned her master’s degree in counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015. She has several years of experience in counseling adults with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, issues related to coping with life and career changes, and family distress. She is an EMDR therapist and is also trained in neurofeedback.
