Trauma comes in many forms. It is important to process that trauma in a safe environment. Like an infection, untreated trauma can fester into depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc. I have experience working with a diverse population of clients but specifically individuals who abuse substances in order to cope with their traumatic history. I also have experience working with clients who have been in the healthcare field or emergency services field as I have been a first responder for many years. In addition I have experience working with individuals of all ages!

I serve individuals who have encountered trauma in their lives. They typically struggle with getting easily triggered and being in fight, flight or freeze mode a lot of the time. It often feels like anxiety so many of my clients come in saying they suffer with anxiety. Many of my clients also struggle with making decisions.

As a therapist with a passion for attachment, child development and family support, I understand the importance of early interventions and nurturing connections within the family. My child-centered, play-based approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of your family. Dr. Lee provides psychological assessment for children (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning concerns). My goal is to bring understanding of your child's behavior while emphasizing their strengths through psychological testing. Evaluations will include your child's strengths, vulnerabilities, diagnosis(es), and recommendations for next steps. I have a waitlist for therapy patients.

Trish is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider who has been active in the mental health profession for over thirty-five years. She received her bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Tennessee Tech and her master's degree in community counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Trish practices from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework drawing heavily from Choice Theory Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, Polyvagal Theory (if you know, you know; if you don't, just ask), and Creative Arts Therapies.

Sascha Smith is a licensed professional counselor that has been working in the mental health field for over 6 years with adolescents, children, and families. Sascha has worked in-patient severe trauma treatment centers for youth in foster care, community mental health centers, community based in-home family therapy centers, and adolescent alcohol and drug abuse treatment facilities, Sascha treats children and teenagers with a variety of behavioral health concerns using multiple evidence-based models of treatment.

Ms. Whelpley works with ages 4 years old through adults. She works with individuals as well as families. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as Trauma Focused Coginitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment, Self Regulation and Competency, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Play Therapy.

Taylor is a psychotherapist practicing in the state of Tennessee. She enjoys and is specialized in treating young adults and adolescents with psychosis, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and families of individuals with serious mental illness. She is interested in helping individuals and families cope, provide education, problem solve, reduce distress related to symptoms, and identify ways that they can continue to successfully achieve their goals. She also offers clinical supervision for Tennessee LCSW candidates and consultations for providers of any license.

I am committed to working with children, adolescents, individuals and families who are in the midst of seeking understanding and guidance on the path towards healing.
