I am committed to working with children, adolescents, individuals and families who are in the midst of seeking understanding and guidance on the path towards healing. Everyone has a story to tell, and everyone deserves to be heard. When traumatic experiences occur, they can alter our view of ourselves and the world. Through therapy, we can work together to rewrite these narratives and beliefs. Who you are is greater than what you've done or had happen to you. I have worked intensely with trauma across the lifespan, adolescent and adult addiction and recovery, and a variety of mood and anxiety disorders.
I am a Registered Play Therapist with extensive training in childhood trauma and stressors. Play Therapy is evidence based and utilizes a variety of modalities to meet kids where they are developmentally. For all other ages, I use various approaches to best meet the presenting needs of my clients. Together we can set goals that are specific to your needs.
I am dedicated to providing a safe space to foster hope, healing and empowerment. My faith as a Christian provides the energy for my work, but I have tremendous respect for each person's story and strive to honor differing views and choice on whether or not to incorporate issues of faith into therapy.
