Anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD (I use EMDR Therapy to treat this), performance issues (both athletically, and professionally), relational issues with family, spirituality issues, grief and loss are all areas in which I have experience. My primary job is to walk with you through the areas you are struggling in and support you all along the way. I've been in private practice for over 15 years and enjoy diversity in my office. My approach is really dependent on my clients unique needs. I would describe myself as caring and direct and have been told by my clients that my challenges to them are as beneficial as my empathy towards them. My hope is to sit with people in a focused, loving and generative way, helping my clients move towards a deeper sense of vitality, self-awareness and authenticity.

I have been a licensed counselor for over fifteen years and I have been in the helping profession for nearly thirty-five years. Much of my experience is working with people who have experienced trauma, especially within relationships. I work best with individuals who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and issues of empowerment. I feel you are the expert concerning your life. Maybe you just need some help exploring that. I have been practicing Clinical Psychology for 30+ years and have been with Brentwood Counseling Associates, the oldest psychological practice in this area, since 1988. I see clients of all ages, starting from adolescence. Sub-specialties include: ADDICTIONS; ANXIETY; DEPRESSION; SPIRITUAL/RELIGIOUS ISSUES. HYPNOTHERAPY can be used for these problems, or for smoking cessation, weight issues, fear of flying and other phobias. I am a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
