Hi! I am Shea, a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. I am a Christian as well. I have years of experience working with people that desire to improve their wellness. I prescribe medication to help as well as necessary referrals and health education. I am able to formally diagnosis and treat all psychiatric conditions. I also work with patients that desire to be free from medications, or that want a second opinion. I use a holistic approach whenever possible and help guide you to find the most appropriate treatment plan you are comfortable with.

With my unique background and experiences, I believe that my ideal client is open minded and ready for change. I believe that we can change our situations by having a positive outlook and making the necessary changes. My military and life experiences have helped me understand the mental challenges that so many go through.

Nelson Kwowi, PMHNP- Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatry to serve pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients with mental health conditions. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Arlington and worked at JPS Hospital’s Department of Emergency Psychiatry for 5+ years. He then completed his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Nelson has worked with clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, Schizophrenia, and addiction disorders. He focuses on providing compassionate and supportive care.

Kenyua (Ken) Johnson is a Board Certified Psychiatric and Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. He also served in the Military for 11 years and understands what it means to be a veteran. He provides psychiatric services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. He believes in carefully choosing a treatment to improve the long-term health of the mind and body. Peters Etchu is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Have been in healthcare for over thirteen years, providing holistic, compassionate mental, and medical care to various demography of patients. Have worked with various psychiatric hospitals around the Houston area providing care to underserved population with mental health challenges. Graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Joe Swider is a Georgetown trained psychiatrist with over 20 yrs of experience in treating the most challenging mental health issues, and has had over 15 yrs of inpatient experience. Specialties include treatment refractory depression and anxiety, which may include PTSD or OCD. Outside of the office, Dr. Swider enjoys an active life, to include skiing, biking and scuba diving.

Many patients believe psychiatrists only prescribe medications, or that they treat mental illnesses but not patients. I am a very experienced psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychoanalyst. I also worked for 25 years with hospitalized teenagers. I will listen carefully, offer expert support and guidance, and treat you as a whole, unique person with complex needs and wishes.
