I started my career as a child psychiatrist and a researcher 20 years ago. I was interested not only in biological basis of mental disorders, but in psychotherapy and the concept of change. Upon immigration to the US, I studied among influential psychiatrists and therapists in New York and Boston. Currently I work in inpatient and outpatient settings, supervise medical students, and conduct psychiatric research. As I have been for the past 20 years, I am still fascinated with the amazing, complex process of individual development.

I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist licensed in both New York and Georgia. I enjoy working with people at every life stage, and I believe psychotherapy is an effective tool to help us lead more meaningful and productive lives. As a physician I also prescribe medications when appropriate.

It is my belief that true peace and healing can only occur with a full understanding of the individual and how they relate to the world around them. Therefore, medication is only a small piece of the puzzle and although there is much talk about the use of evidence based treatments, the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence and so I try to incorporate different schools of thought from not only Western Medicine, but Eastern Medicine as well. In the final analysis we are on this journey together and I find it a privilege to be able to join you.

Dr. Tintorer went to medical school at New Jersey Medical School, and went on to begin a residency in surgery before deciding that a career in psychiatry was where she wanted to be. She did her general psychiatry training at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan, then her Child and Adolescent Fellowship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Medical Center in Manhattan. She has rotated through a therapeutic school in NYC, worked in a substance abuse clinic in Brooklyn, and worked with psychiatric inpatient and outpatient children and adults in both NY and NJ. She has been in practice in Monmouth County since 2010.

With more than 25 years of experience in the Mental Health field, I began to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner after graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2013. My goal as a mental health provider is to help patients to alleviate their symptoms and to reach their highest potential in all aspects of their lives.

I am passionate about caring for LGBTQIA+ people, and I have been researching and teaching about queer issues in health care for the past ten years.

Cornell and Columbia trained, Dr. Lopez does not believe in one-size-fits-all treatments. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the national Child and Adolescent Psychiatry society (AACAP) and believes in down-to-earth approaches that really make sense. Dr. Lopez is also an adult psychotherapist with years of training in the most in-depth psychotherapies. He provides interventions that have clear results. A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), he has taught at Cornell and Columbia specialized programs for more than 15 years. He now brings to Philadelphia the latest knowledge to help kids, parents, and adult patients.

I am a Johns-Hopkins trained, award-winning Harvard psychiatrist, affiliated with McLean and Mass General Brigham, quadruple board certified in Addiction Medicine, Obesity Medicine, Adult Psychiatry, and Child Psychiatry. While all psychiatrists receive some child psychiatry training, I’m a Board-certified child psychiatrist, in private practice. Simultaneously, as the director of one of the largest public, child psychiatry clinics in New York City, 90% of my patients are under the age of 18. I’ve dedicated my entire career to working with children and families. I manage the gamut of high acuity cases in the emergency room, to recent hospitalizations, to stable young adults. Susan Weinstein, M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist in private practice in Ardsley, NY. She treats children, adolescents, and adults using psychotherapy and medication management. Dr. Weinstein is also an attending physician and supervisor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, with dual appointments in the departments of psychiatry and pediatrics. She completed undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed medical school, adult and child psychiatry training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.

I am a Harvard and Mount Sinai trained, double-board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist.
