Overcoming mental health challenges can seem insurmountable; however, the first and often most difficult step is to get help. Reading this means you are on your way to healing and you should be proud of that. I am a Black queer psychiatrist that understands that folks from all backgrounds experience challenges and do so uniquely. My style is empathetic, warm, nonjudgmental, and unassuming and the therapeutic approach we will use together is tailored to fit your specific needs. I am committed to working together to tackle depression, relational stress, ADHD, anxiety, and many other issues arising related to your well-being.
I offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and a blend of psychotherapy styles including psychodynamic therapy and CBT. I earned my MD at the University of California, San Francisco, completed adult psychiatry training at Yale, and have advanced training in working with children from Montefiore. My practice is telehealth and in-person.
