About
With more than 25 years of experience in the Mental Health field, I began to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner after graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2013. My goal as a mental health provider is to help patients to alleviate their symptoms and to reach their highest potential in all aspects of their lives.
Unlike the traditional mental health practitioner who focuses on only the problems or deficits which dominates the treatment decision making, I focus on patient strengths, empowerment and choices which are needed to enhance the patients quality of life.
My psychotherapeutic training has been in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, individual and couples counseling, as well as medication management.
