With a combination of medication and therapy I have helped many patients to achieve a better life. Board certified in child as well as adult psychiatry, I am experienced in the treatment of conditions affecting children and adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population.

I am a Harvard-trained psychiatrist for children, adolescents and adults and am the Clinical Director of Brooklyn Minds Concierge Mental Health and deep TMS Center. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults as this a time of utmost importance in establishing independence, meaning and direction. I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry trained at Columbia University with several years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. We utilize testing and bloodwork, with referrals to other providers to rule out any possible neurobiological cause of mental health issues. I also focus on diet, nutrition, stress, and any here and now issue you may be struggling with. Working together and most importantly listening to your problems, working together to develop a plan of treatment, help obtain a better quality of life and happiness. I am also a medical marijuana provider for chronic pain and PTSD sufferers.

Most of the patients who have worked with me over the years have a variety of different mental health issues. These include depression, anxiety and substance dependence. However, in psychiatry, there are many other mental health matters which need to be diagnosed and carefully treated. I feel very capable and prepared given my years of experience to work with patients who have these conditions as well.

Dr. Cameron Mahle achieved his medical doctorate from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. His specialty training was completed at the Mount Sinai Hospital System. He obtained dual undergrad degrees in biology and anthropology at The Ohio State University. In addition to private practice, Dr. Mahle works at local NYC hospitals as an attending psychiatrist. Here he manages psychiatric emergencies and trains/supervises resident psychiatrists and medical students. Dr. Mahle's training had special emphasis in psychodynamic psychotherapy; a school of thought geared towards high-functioning and intelligent individuals.

He is skilled in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy across the lifespan. Mr. Malecki completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as his advanced practice nursing degree at Stony Brook University. He also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and has a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Adelphi University. He is currently working at Modern Integrative Psychiatry in NYC.

I am a highly devoted and compassionate psychiatrist. I speak several languages including Farsi, I have had the pleasure of working with patients from various cultures, and more recently I have had the privilege of working with Covid-19 frontline workers. Anxiety, Depression, Attention problems can cause significant difficulties in life. I provide medication management and at my Garden City location offer TMS therapy. TMS or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is non-invasive treatment for Depression for patients who have not responded to medications and therapy. It does not require anesthesia and only requires at an average 20-30 minutes. Most patients are able to drive back home and resume daily activities.

My passion for psychiatry began in medical school, where I realized my calling was to help patients lead happier and more productive lives. The role of the PMHNP is to assess, diagnose and treat the mental health needs of patients. along with mental health promotion and mental illness diagnosis and treatment across the lifespan. Treatment includes prescribing psychotropic medications, medication management and providing therapy to patients who are diagnosed with a mental health disorder or struggle with substance abuse.

Bethany Malugin is a board certified, psychiatric nurse practitioner who graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She sees diagnoses including, but not limited to: Depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, Eating Disorders, Mood Disorder, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Bipolar, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Sleep issues, & Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD). Ms. Malugin is attentive with listening and thoughtful with utilizing clinical guidelines for the best possible care for each and every person she treats.

Marie Anne is a board certified Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Talkiatry. She has worked in community, outpatient and hospital settings with people of all ages. Prior to Talkiatry, Marie Anne spent time at CityBlock Health in their outpatient clinic. She received her masters in nursing from Hunter College. Conditions Marie Anne specializes in treating include depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders including but not limited to bipolar disorder. Marie Anne believes everyone is a unique individual and is treated as such, no two people are the same and treatment planning is unique to each person.

Dr. Kimberly Mangla is a psychiatrist specializing in Women’s Mental Health and reproductive psychiatry. She completed her residency training in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital and fellowship training in Women’s Mental Health at Columbia University. Dr. Mangla has worked with trauma patients with history of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also completed two years of Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. She provides consultation and ongoing treatment for any mood issues in the context of pregnancy, infertility, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and peri-menopause.
