I have been working in the mental health field in various roles since 1998 from working with children and adolescents as a behavioral interventionist and health care coordinator in residential programs for youth with complex diagnoses and histories of trauma, and with adults inpatient at a state hospital. I am the founder and owner of Boston Psychiatric Services. I am an ANCC board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I aim to establish individualized and comprehensive care to clients that promotes resilience, growth, and fosters one’s ability to cope and manage with life’s struggles.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

I have been practicing in the mental health field for over 10 years with significant experience treating patients in the acute setting as well as in the community. My passion for mental health was ignited working in the community, as this was the position that allowed me to see the positive impacts of high-quality care and the resulting quality of life improvements of my patients.

Kyle B Sargent is a Psychiatric Physician Assistant. He graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences specializing in Psychiatric Health as well as Acute Care. Kyle joined our team in hopes of connecting with patients to create a solid and trusting relationship in order to provide appropriate patient-centered care. He has worked in Urgent Cares across the South Shore, but his main passion is mental health where he aims to serve and provide care to his community in areas that need it the most.

As a graduate of Boston College with extensive experience at premier Harvard-teaching hospitals, including McLean Hospital, MGH and BIDMC, my commitment to your well-being is deeply ingrained and well-informed. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner devoted to establishing genuine connections with individuals through medication management, accurate diagnostics and authentic, patient-centered care. Joshua believes in caring for the whole person holistically. He strives to understand current mental health concerns as well as various stressors and past traumas. He provides a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment for clients. He works collaboratively with clients to create a plan, overcome stuck points, and reach treatment goals utilizing both therapeutic techniques and medication. Joshua's education consists of some of the highest rated programs in the country - Cornell, Duke University, and GSU, as well as an Emory Residency program. My desire to make a difference in the mental health field led me to further my education at Regis College, where I graduated with my master’s in nursing in May 2023, specializing in Psychiatry. As a Psychiatric Mental Health NP, my approach to patient care is deeply rooted in compassion and understanding. I VALUE validation; focus on the present, ensure that her patients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their healing journey.
