Enel Joseph is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who assists adolescents, young adults, and older adults in handling mental health problems and improving their mental wellness. Enel’s ability to communicate fluently in English, Creole, and French and his 12 years of service in diverse settings, uniquely position him to serve the psychiatric needs of different kinds of clients. His ideal client is a person struggling with a mental health problem who has yet to come to terms with the condition.

Mary Ellen Smith is a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 37 years of experience in nursing and a wealth of experience in almost all areas of mental health. Mary Ellen manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar illness. She has worked as a nurse clinician for 19 years at a major teaching hospital in Boston.

It’s hard to decide to seek help; now finding that help brings more stress. I hope I can help you get your life back on track. Most issues respond best to a combination of therapy and medications, so I provide both. My approach is strategy-focused; I offer suggestions, & you choose which to try. Medications must be an open & honest collaboration between us. I provide information about the options, and respect your informed decision. Dr. Yeung is a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in treating a wide spectrum of psychiatric conditions including sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, and attention deficit disorders. Dr. Yeung personalizes treatment to each individual he works with. He utilizes a holistic approach that combines the benefits of medication, dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and complementary mind-body treatments including mindfulness, tai chi, qigong, and acupuncture.

I provide psychiatric care, including diagnosis, medication management, consultations, and supportive counseling. I have enjoyed worked with many diverse groups, including members of the LGBTQ community, college students and professionals on all levels, individuals adjusting to cultural changes, persons in life-stage transitions, and those living with chronic disease. Khadija Tuitt is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 15 years of nursing experience in both acute inpatient and community outpatient psychiatric nursing. Khadija specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals across the lifespan who suffer from a host of mental health issues including depression, anxiety and panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar and mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Shaina LaBonte is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC). She has over 7 years of experience working with clients who are experiencing a wide variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, and more.

I am a psychiatrist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Services I provide include psychiatric evaluation/consultation, individual psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology for adults 18 to 65. At this point, I only provide medication management for patients whom I am working with in a regular psychotherapy. I have an academic affiliation with McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Program, where I teach in a psychotherapy course and provide outpatient supervision of residents.

Dr. Toppelberg is an experienced, Harvard-trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, usually working with ages 3-30. He evaluates and treats emotional/ behavioral difficulties including ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, anxiety, and selective mutism, and those preventing weight loss. He has focused on issues of performance at work, study and competitive sports. He regularly works with tour-level tennis players and other professional and student athletes. He is an expert in neurodevelopmental disabilities, as well as learning and language disabilities. He runs psychiatric services at an excellent school for children/adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, the prestigious New England Center for Children.

My practice focuses on helping people with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, PTSD; individuation within the framework of psychodynamic psychotherapy. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents (18+), adults, couples, and people involved in the arts. Childhood experiences and relationships with one's family of origin influence an individual's personality and provides a template for future relationships. It can therefore be fruitful to understand via therapy that your family relationships are not destiny. I believe therapy is a psychological and spiritual journey, requiring empathy, patience, and validation of feelings.
