I focus on psychotropic medication management for individuals 18-years-old and above. At our practice we also offer full psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, which are useful in diagnostic clarification to help in treatment planning and medication management.

Currently we have availability on a weekly basis starting in May 2024. Jan Nelson is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with board certification in psychiatry. With over 10 years working in the psychiatry field, she has experience with all levels of mental health including treating anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, attention deficit, sleep disorders, OCD, trauma, and others. Her practice focuses on the whole body, using a wide variety of treatment modalities including holistic treatment, medication management and therapy.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Lauren Linsmeier is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in patient care across the lifespan. With a background in acute settings, including psychiatric hospitals and the emergency department, Lauren has devoted numerous years as a nurse and nurse practitioner to supporting individuals during their most challenging moments. She now enjoys working with patients alongside life’s ups and downs to provide assistance and support.

I provide person-centered therapy and medication management. I work with individuals with anxiety, depression, life transitions, mood disorders, ADHD, stress, family conflict and more. I strive to develop a genuine therapeutic relationship with each client to ensure I have a good understanding of your concerns and goals. I work with each client to develop a treatment plan with hopes of alleviating distress and helping individuals build their coping skills.

Accepting new patients, I am a double board certified psychiatrist with certifications in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry. I have been on faculty at academic centers and involved in teaching medical students and training psychiatry residents. My diverse and in depth experience has helped me look out for the subtle nuances which often get missed and lead to treatment resistance.
