I'm a board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been providing mental health/ psychiatric care for over a decade. I have expertise with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, Mood disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, substance/alcohol abuse.

I am a double board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine physician with added qualification in child and adolescent psychiatry. With over 17 years of experience as a clinician and educator, with specialties in Addiction Medicine, Mental Health, Detox, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) , Pain Management, Military Mental Health, and Harm Reduction. My overall mission is to help clients regain control of their life, and in that way, they can live to the fullest with their loved ones.

I believe that optimal psychiatric care begins by hearing a patient’s history and understanding their goals. There are no magic plills or magic cure for mental health care. I do really believe treating mental illness and optimizing patient well-being depends on formulating patients individually and tailoring treatment to meet their unique goals and needs and to set the expectations from the beggining.
