I am a dual certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner (FNP, PMHNP) who entered this profession to provide the impactful, meaningful results that most people hope to find when they seek treatment for a mental health condition. My main areas of focus include depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder in the adult and geriatric population. I utilize medication management and psychotherapy to meet the needs of my clients.
I have been in the medical field for over 20 years, initially as an registered nurse, then went on to further my education as an FNP, then PMHNP to better meet the needs of my patients. My diverse background makes it easier for me to see my clients as a whole. I will never utilize a one size fit all approach with the individuals I treats.
