Welcome! I am pleased to have you consider my practice for your psychiatric health care needs. I am licensed to practice medicine by the California State Medical Board, and am board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After receiving my medical degree from Sindh Medical College, I completed my Psychiatry Residency from Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. I have been practicing psychiatry in California since 2003.

Finding a Board Certified Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, one who approaches treatment from an evidence based clinical, holistic, developmental and systems based (family, school, etc) perspective is challenging. I am committed to improving lives of children, adolescents and their families. I specialize in Autism, Anxiety and OCD disorders. I treat these through Cognitive Behavioral, Exposure Response Prevention, Family or Parent Behavioral Management therapies with or without psychotropic medications. I incorporate mindfulness, psychoeducation, sensory and complimentary interventions as appropriate.

My practice utilizes a personalized approach to the psychiatric treatment of adolescents and adults. I focus on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and individualized treatment of a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder and post traumatic stress related conditions as well as work related interpersonal challenges and coaching. I work with adolescents and adults to ensure your best care through behavioral interventions, psychotherapy, nutritional analysis, and medication management. Genetic testing and functional medicine are an integral part of my practice and patient care.
