Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services provides integrated, residential behavioral healthcare to treat mental health and substance use disorders. The Muir Wood Girls’ Program is a gender-specific (girls only), trauma-informed program designed to help girls 12 to 17 feel safe, supported, and comfortable while receiving holistic treatment. Muir Wood treats a wide range of mental health and substance use conditions including, addictive disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, and mood disorders such as bipolar depression and schizophrenia. Located in beautiful and serene Sonoma County, our treatment campuses are highly supervised and positive home-like environments where teen girls can feel comfortable sharing sensitive issues, benefit from a strong therapeutic alliance and be inspired by supportive peers. In addition to intensive individual and group therapy, recreational and experiential therapies, and psychoeducation, Muir Wood also integrates extensive family programming.
