Welcome! I am pleased to have you consider my practice for your psychiatric health care needs. I am licensed to practice medicine by the California State Medical Board, and am board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After receiving my medical degree from Sindh Medical College, I completed my Psychiatry Residency from Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. I have been practicing psychiatry in California since 2003.
I work to integrate various psychotherapies and psychopharmacology into my practice. My areas of expertise include Anxiety and Panic disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, Depression, Mood disorders, and Women's issues. In addition to offering medication treatment options, I also provide psychotherapy in the integrative model, combining techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy.
At an initial visit, my goal will be to provide you with a thorough mental health evaluation, an initial diagnosis and prognosis, as well as suggest best treatment plans and options. My immediate aim will be to restore you to your highest functional level as soon as possible. Thank You.
