Compassionate and effective trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and loss therapy. I work with adults who have survived a trauma and/or loss and want to move forward. My clients have thoughts like, "I should have done something different" or "I am a bad mother/father/daughter/son/sibling." These are very common beliefs following trauma and loss. My clients struggle with shame and guilt on a daily basis. Moreover, somewhere between two to six months of treatment, my clients feel more fulfilled and more in-control of their symptoms. They also begin to use more balanced and grounded thoughts and beliefs.
I am a trauma-trained therapist with a warm approach. We can work towards lowering your anxiety, healing from past trauma(s), processing traumatic grief, and maintaining your mental health. I use three treatments that are evidenced-based and highly effective - Cognitive Processing Therapy (for trauma), Informed-Internal Family Systems, and CBT.
