I specialize in working with adults who have ADHD; adults who experience excess anxiety, worry, or distress; and adult men who may experience common Men's Issues. I help people who feel like their lives are overwhelming or out of control and they are ready to do something to produce change. Together, through active collaboration, we can identify the specific things you would like to change in your life and create achievable goals based on what you can realistically control. This includes practicing new skills to handle stress in your life. I maintain a secular perspective.
I utilize brief therapy models, mindfulness, and behavioral therapy to help people begin to implement changes in their lives. To experience different results, you have to do things differently. This includes how you think, act, and respond to situations in your daily life. It also entails processing what you feel in healthy ways. We can work on it together.
