I am a Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist with 30 plus years of experience. I also offer clinical supervision to colleagues. Counselling can actively improve a couple's communication and potentially make sense of unhelpful patterns of communication and/or behaviour. Clients say that their relationships are stuck in a rut and that the communication and often their sex life, that once was easy, is now fraught with difficulties. Often people struggle with their sexual difficulty in silence, feeling embarrassed and ashamed, unable to discuss their issues with anyone. I can help and guide you through this difficult place.
I began my training back in the early 1990's with Relate the national counselling charity. In the years since then I have done more trainings around relationships, couples and sexual difficulties. Other areas of interest and trainings done have been in counselling young people, families and supervision of other counselling colleagues.
I strongly believe that good communications is the basis for a fulfilling and satisfying relationship. Our relationships with everyone and anyone are important, stress seems to be generated when we feel unheard, misunderstood or not appreciated. My aim is to facilitate real communication and clarity between couples and families to ease all relationships
