Many people think Counselling is something we need when we experience problems like anxiety, depression or overwhelming feelings of sadness, that challenge our coping mechanisms. However, in my view, Counselling should be seen in the same way as going to the hairdresser to get your emotional well-being shipshape. It is almost like trimming the dry split ends, to help you get emotionally healthy and ready for real-life again. Trimming the anxiety to a manageable length. Just like some people need a short back and sides haircut others might need a new hair colour. Whatever your needs, you will be allowed to share your feelings.
