I specialise in working with children and young people from age 4-25 and their families. I support issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, school refusal, food, overwhelming emotions and attachment trauma. I have experience working with neurodiverse children, adopted and looked after children. Sessions are delivered in a purpose built creative therapy room. I offer joint parent and child sessions (Dyadic). We can work together on a long and short term basis depending on your needs. I work with parents/caregivers and adult students at Hertfordshire University, and offer clinical supervision to arts therapists.
A variety of creative materials will be provided including paints, pastels, toys, sand tray, story cards, objects and collage, to support self expression. You can talk or make art its your choice. I can work face to face in schools, my private practice in Ware or Harlow or online. I offer clinical supervision to trainees and qualified therapists.
My non-judgmental collaborative approach put people at ease. I hope to nurture confidence and reduces stress. I am an integrative therapist that uses a psychodynamic approach. I use attachment theory to inform my practice. I can offer clinical supervision to art therapists, psychotherapists/ counsellors
