I am a Registered Psychologist offering in-person services in Calgary & virtual services throughout AB. I have experience working with Adults through a number of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, boundaries, self-esteem, emotional regulation, childhood abuse/sexual assault, healthy sexuality, and self-awareness/identity. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma in their life. Trauma can look different for each and every person; what may be traumatizing for one, may not be for another. You define what it means for you, & together, we can work towards lessening the impact of these events.
I follow a client-centered approach and view you as being the expert in your life. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioural therapy, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, exposure-based interventions, & somatic-based interventions, in my practice. From the moment we meet, we will work in a collaborative manner to address your concerns and achieve your goals.
I believe that as humans, we all have the capacity to move towards healing. Therapy provides a safe space in which to do this as it can be challenging to both let go of, and accept, certain parts of ourselves and our story.
