Melbourne Centre for Women’s Mental Health is a proud Australian feminist mental health service that offers a growing number of clinical and educational programs for women and girls of Victoria. Established in 2018, we stand for anti-oppressive practices in mental health care and offer a variety of therapeutic programs and professional programs designed to empower our clients. We also conduct our own research, publish regular articles and promote lived experience voices.
We offer support for anxiety, depression, eating disorders & many other issues effecting the health & functioning of women & girls. Structured approaches to therapy such as Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) are provided as well as unstructured dynamic approaches utilising feminist & humanistic principles.
