Cedar Psychology was established to cater to different mental health needs within a safe, non-judgmental and containing environment. We all have our ups and downs, where support from family and friends can be enough to help us manage our stress. Sometimes we may feel that we need more. I welcome individuals, couples and families, while accommodating clients with sessions after office hours and over weekends. I specialise in providing counselling and tools to men & women ranging between the ages of 15 and 65+ who are struggling with identity, intimacy, lack of purpose, feelings of inadequacy, depression, looking for meaning in their lives, and a lack of meaning relationships. I have a passion for working with couples & families who have conflict or communication problems. I have extensive experience in working with career focused clients, conducting career planning, coaching & counselling.

Therapy has become very clinical in the pathological world we live in. I focus on ways to make ethical, value-based choices that help you build a purposeful, meaningful life. I use an Existentialist approach (Humanistic) while and my methods generally follow Acceptance & Commitment Therapy guidelines. I have a unique perspective on many issues from my experience in life from personal challenges: raised in poverty, suffering male-anorexia, failed early-life relationships and 20 yrs. as an entrepreneur. This lived experience helps me be an effective counsellor, mental health speaker and provide ethical services as a life-coach.

I aim to provide a safe and warm space where individuals who are experiencing challenges feel comfortable to share, explore and move toward self-knowledge and personal growth. The most helpful therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one and my goal is to collaborate with clients to develop a greater understanding of themselves and their situations so that they can create a more fulfilled life.
