Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 40 – bed residential facility which offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Nestled on 5.19 acres of the beautiful Poconos mountains, this homey yet modern establishment provides the ideal setting for clients to cleanse themselves of all harmful substances and embark on their journey to sustained recovery. With round-the-clock supervision and care, our clients’ every need is met with dignity and compassion before it arises. At Huntington Creek Recovery Center, located in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, we offer superior live-in treatment for young people. Our adolescent residential program is available for teens ages 13-18 who are suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. Youths may enter the program directly or as a step-down to a less restrictive level of care from inpatient treatment. Our comprehensive residential addiction treatment program is tailored to the needs of each client so that they can get the most out of their time with us. Through age-appropriate services, we can help adolescents build a solid foundation for recovery and improve their communication, coping, and social skills. Our team aims to provide adolescents in our program with treatment that meets them where they are on their recovery journeys. We achieve this by taking the time to get to know each client and better understand the unique challenges they are facing. Each client’s program duration is determined on an individual basis. While the average length of stay in our residential program is 30 days, we offer extended care as needed.

In CFF’s treatment programs, teens begin to build strong relationships, learn and practice healthy coping skills, grow their personal self-worth, and reestablish trust and communication with themselves and their loved ones. Our approach blends behavioral and medical treatment (integrated care) and provides both clinical and experiential modalities (integrative care). Each of our treatment programs encompasses evidence-based and solutions-focused components. Through support groups, clinical therapy, and psychoeducation, we involve the entire family in the healing journey - creating connection, cultivating compassion, igniting hope, and generating lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment proven to help teens struggling with emotion dysregulation, self-harming behavior, suicidal ideation, and other mental health issues. Evolve’s Comprehensive DBT residential treatment center is the first of its kind in California and one of only a handful in the entire country. Many of our teens struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, borderline personality disorder, addiction or other high-acuity issues. Whether someone seeks treatment at our St. Louis, Missouri, or Kansas City, Kansas, location, they receive an aftercare plan that we personalize to their specific needs and goals. We start planning each person’s aftercare on their first day of treatment so that their plan is as comprehensive as possible. This is a collaborative process in which a person works together with a discharge planner, their treatment team, and members of their family, as appropriate, to determine the next steps in their recovery journey. This might include transitioning to another level of care or receiving a referral to an outside provider, along with identifying any community resources they may need and specific areas to continue focusing on.
