Located in Rose Garden, San Jose, Evolve’s partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs treat teens and children ages 12-17 with mental health, substance use, dual diagnosis, and/or behavioral issues. Our licensed, specialized staff utilize evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), daily group sessions and psychoeducation, individual and family therapy, multifamily groups, and psychiatry. We also integrate therapeutic modalities for addiction recovery, such as Relapse Prevention, DBT for Substance Abuse, 12-Step programs, and SMART Recovery. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation. They may display high-risk, self-harming or suicidal behaviors. DBT is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our clients the skills needed for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, improved impulse control, and effective communication. Teens and children also receive daily academic support and participate in experiential therapies such as music, art, mindfulness, yoga, and psychodrama.

Engage is a therapeutic environment located footsteps away from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, and minutes away from the mountains. Engage’s purpose is to provide therapeutic support for young adults struggling with attachment distress, and relational trauma that is often creating emotional and relational challenges. These challenges may be depression, anxiety, loneliness, and lack of purpose. An Engage candidate is a young adult that is stalled in the developmental process of establishing a separate and independent life from their parents. Our participant is struggling with relational trauma, anxiety, depression, moderate substance abuse and a potential emerging personality disorder that are creating significant barriers to move into healthy independence.

At Center for Human Potential, located in downtown Salt Lake City, we focus on helping people achieve balance and fulfillment. We have many talented psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists able to help children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with a variety of difficulties. We provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families. We also prescribe psychiatric medication and offer psychological testing to screen for ADHD and learning disabilities. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) gives individuals new aptitudes to oversee excruciating feelings and reduce interpersonal frustrations. DBT explicitly centers around giving restorative abilities in four crucial aspects. Mindfulness centers around improving a person's capacity to acknowledge and be available in the moment. Distress tolerance is designed for expanding an individual's resilience of negative feeling, as opposed to attempting to escape from it.
