We operate from a systemic perspective which means we take into consideration a client's family, work, school, friends, and greater community to see how these systems may be impacting current issues. She also works with individuals to work through stress management, relationship trouble, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. Cassidee is also a person of faith and would be happy to incorporate Christian values and prayer into sessions if a client is interested.

I've had the honor of working with people with a history of trauma throughout my life. PTSD, attachment disorder and dissociative disorders are normal responses to being exposed to Traumatic events. This is the way our brains try to protect us from being overwhelmed. We can get stuck feeling like the world is dangerous or the events are still occuring long after the trauma is over. I enjoy working with people to create a nonjudgmental space that is tailored to their needs and goals. My view is that we are connected internally and externally in a web of different systems that impact us, and through understanding how these systems and the client are affecting one another do we get a comprehensive view of what’s going on. When appropriate and agreed upon, I will work with people in these different systems (e.g., family, loved ones, teachers, primary care providers, social workers, parole officers, etc.) to help provide continuity of care and a cohesive treatment plan.
