Having worked with people who have experienced serious trauma, I believe that people can heal and live full lives. I have worked with people who think that their marriage is over, and with work and commitment, turn the marriage around to become even healthier than it was in the beginning. My clients have struggled with serious marital strife, rape, abuse, depression and various other issues. Over the last twenty plus years, I have seen changes occur when my clients work hard, understanding that change takes time, and with assistance, learn that they can get the life and relationships they want.

My focus in couple therapy is to understand and give space to even the ugliest parts of you and your partner that have been preventing the connection you once felt. While I see many wonderful, burned-out mothers and wives, I also have extensive experience with courageous men who also enter the "feeling" space.
