I utilize a client-centered approach in treating children (ages 2-12), adolescents, and adults who are dealing with an array of stressors, ranging from anxiety and depression to abuse and/or other traumas. One of my primary goals in working with my clients is to create a safe environment in which they can explore and gain lasting insight, awareness, and understanding into their unique-life challenges.

Relationships are one of the most important things in life. Whether that be with a partner, spouse, parent, child or other family member. We understand that strengthening and maintaining those relationships is at the top or your list. It’s at the top of our list too! I have been working with children, families, and couples for 12 years. I have a passion for working with children in particular, as I believe helping a child in early life changes the course of their development. I specialize in play therapy, sand therapy, Theraplay, and couple therapy.

Dr. Miller received his doctorate in counseling psychology from an APA accredited university and practiced for over 15 years in various settings including the University of Missouri Medical School. He is the former clinical director of the Autism Mentor Program for 2 different universities. Dr. Miller is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and works primarily with adult persons. He treats most mental health concerns: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, interpersonal concerns, faith transitions, etc. Dr. Miller specializes in OCD, high functioning autism, performance psychology (sports psych), and psychological assessment.
