Hello! My name is Melisa Chase. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a bachelor of science in special education from Lee University and a master of social work from University of Texas at Arlington. I have over 6 years of experience in mental/behavioral health with the majority of that time working with children and adolescents. I have a little over 3 years of experience in working as a program therapist in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

I have experience working with a wide array of clients. I commonly treat clients with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I also have quite a bit of experience with clients who have lost someone dear to them, and are trying to find a way though that grief. In addition to those areas, I also treat a number of other issues not yet mentioned, such as bipolar disorder, OCD, problems in interpersonal relationships, stress management, career-related concerns, trauma, and more.

My approach to therapy is from a Cognitive Behavior perspective based on Christian values. My goal in counseling is to provide my clients with alternative ways of thinking about themselves, life, relationships, etc. I have opted for this therapeutic approach because in life, every thought is tied to an emotion. Those thoughts not only affect one mentally, but physically. If an individual can change the way they view life, their current situation, and how they feel, it could ultimately change their behavior.

Hello, my name is Ramon Romero, III. I am straightforward in the way that I approach therapy. I am not going to say some magical words that are going to cure you in one session. Mary Bennett is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the DFW area. Her practice serves a wide range of individuals, including adolescents, families, couples, and adults. In her work, Mary utilizes a variety of Cognitive Behavioral tools and Dialectical Behavioral skills, including mindfulness and radical acceptance, to help meet her clients’ individual needs and support them in their personal growth. Mary takes a person-centered approach with her clients; she meets them where they are presently to help them get where they are going without judgment or pressure.
