I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. I have been practicing for over 5 years and have a focus on working with individuals and couples, including individuals throughout the pregnancy and postpartum phase. I am currently trained in postpartum mental health through Postpartum Support International. I have experience working with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma history, ADHD, and more.
I believe in creating an open and supportive space for all clients, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, and religious practices. I prefer to use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from various models in order to best meet the needs of my clients, rather than a one-size fits all approach.
I believe the therapeutic alliance is one of the most important pieces in a clients therapy journey, because of this, it is my goal to always provide a safe and judgement free space for my clients to openly explore and learn more about themselves. I strive to be the type of therapist that I would want for myself, and always try to bring my best to session.
