As a trauma, sex/intimacy, and relationship therapist, I bring a unique approach to the therapy process. Sex and intimacy can be challenging because of the history we bring with us into our relationships. Traumas from childhood, past relationships, trust issues, sexuality/gender struggles, anxiety, shame, stress can inhibit the development of deep intimate relationship with others. I have a passion for supporting my clients through healing and reconnection to their bodies, their own pleasure in order connect intimately in a healthy way with the people in their lives.

Taking new clients! I treat clients who experience anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic disorders, self-esteem-related issues as well as life transitions, and sexual addiction. I am also LGBTQIA+-affirming. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychodynamic theories, as well as Humanistic therapy. I work to provide a safe space for my clients to be able to be themselves within a judgment-free zone and work towards being their best selves.

As a Counselor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (Advanced level), I support and hold space for the healing of all kinds of trauma. I enjoy working with clients who seek support with chronic illness, sexuality, self growth, relationships & attachment, life transitions, family, systemic trauma and multigenerational or cultural matters. I believe we are deeply impacted by the cultural, social and historical contexts to which we originate, exist, and navigate; therefore I strive to attune to and support these facets of your experience in our work.

My focus includes trauma-informed therapy with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals. I primarily work with adolescents and young adults. I utilize evidence-based, affirming practices to support my clients in processing trauma, regulating mood instability, improving relationships, coping with life transitions, and building confidence in themselves.

I specialize in EMDR. therapy. I also work with clients who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and more. I have training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder. I also have experience with working closely with clients who have experienced traumatic births as well as birth workers and medical providers who witness traumatic births. I have attended over 30 births as a birth doula and I understand the process of birth for parents and providers.
