I specialized in working with those seeking help with depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and any other challenges they may face. I also have a passion for working with couples and incorporating sex therapy, as well as working with the LGBTQ+ community and polyamorous relationships. I am Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) certified to work with family members to support their loved ones experiencing substance abuse challenges.

Dr. Michele Winchester-Vega and Associates is a group private practice with over 10 Licensed professionals that specialize in a variety of modalities and treatment specialties. Treatment is offered to those aged 6 and above and individual, family and group modalities are available. We are involved in teaching and hold faculty positions as well as providing consultation/ supervision to other professionals. Spanish speaking services available.

I am a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I'm psychodynamically oriented, while at the same time I am direct and interactive in my approach. My focus is on correcting maladaptive behaviors and identifying the unconscious processes and irrational beliefs which underlie them. My expertise is in helping persons who are depressed, anxious, experiencing loss, having relationship problems and/or concerns about sexual matters. I accept most insurance including Medicare.
