My hope is to assist individuals with a history of addictive issues to decrease cravings and impulses and work on negative self-beliefs. I also work with many individuals that have experienced traumatic events throughout the lifespan through the use of EMDR and additional modalities deemed appropriate. Together we will learn your unique attributes and qualities and hold space to determine which direction is right for you. My approach is client centered, while also utilizing some additional therapeutic tools and frameworks from modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic and family of origin frameworks, trauma focused care, self compassion framework and mindfulness therapy. I provide comprehensive outpatient services to Rhode Island and South Eastern Massachusetts, including diagnostic assessment and treatment services. I also provide state-of-the-art therapy for anxiety and depression and other psychological difficulties.

Victoria is a masters level, prelicensed therapist in Rhode Island. She works with adolescents, college students and adults. She enjoys helping clients who are navigating transitions, caregiving, chronic illness, relationship issues, anxiety, ADHD, and those who have experienced trauma.

Natashia provides a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves and develop resilience driven by a genuine commitment to their well-being. Her experience spans working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds, addressing various concerns. Her empathetic and culturally sensitive approach allows me to connect deeply with my clients and create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration. I have training and experience in many aspects of human development including the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health problems, adjustment issues, and educational challenges. My professional experience includes clinical work in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I have worked with children who have attention problems, learning difficulties, behavioral issues, anxiety, mood disturbances as well as serious mental health disorders. My experience also includes helping adults with depressive symptoms, anxiety, adjustment issues, and marital concerns. I am also certified in child and adolescent trauma

I have a passion for working with adolescents and with clients living with anxiety and depression. I am gifted at working with clients to transition through the grieving process and supporting those who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I am adept at working with women who struggle in their relationships. A licensed psychotherapist and special education teacher, I received my Master's degree in Social Work at Simmons College in Boston and my Master's degree in Special Education at Rhode Island College.

My focus is helping couples, individuals, and families identify and address what "doesn't work", and in a meaningful and respectful way, communicate their needs to create balance throughout the system. I believe in a systemic approach, and through the use of empathy, motivation, and a bit of humor, aim to help families recognize their strengths, and put those strengths to use in problem solving. My ability to join with families and couples (showing equal respect for each person in that system) has been my strongest tool in promoting success. I welcome any challenge.

I have been a therapist for over 20 years. I treat varies mental health issues such as depression, bipolar and anxiety. i specialize in alcohol and substance abuse issues. I see clients that are involved with the court system. I except all major health insurances.

Over the past 14 years I have put together a unique system of problem solving and planning called "Growing The Whole Way". This system teaches how to think bigger and work with the mind, body, and spirit for better results in making change. It also supports taking care of yourself in the process. My workbook includes key concepts and practical strategies to help with motivation, organization, and meaningful planning. It also teaches efficiency along with follow through and self development. Once complete this book can become a personalized reference outside of session time. This system can also be used again for future goals.

In my practice, I use a variety of treatment modalities such as individual, couple, group, and family therapy depending on individual needs. I have much experience working with psychiatric and behavioral problems such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders and so on. Teaching individuals how to manage and cope with symptoms of grief, marital problems, family conflict, divorce, parenting issues, and other relational problems are additional areas of specialty.

After graduating from social work school 46 years ago, it has been my privilege to have partnered with and met all kinds of people from all walks of life presenting with a myriad of struggles. From my perspective, treatment is all about improving one's quality of life. Experience has shown me that with the appropriate amount of support and reality testing, most people are quite capable of addressing their challenges and feeling better about themselves. I prefer using a more traditional psychodynamic approach to treatment. Such an approach emphasizes providing a positive space for people to change.
