Upon graduating from social work school over 50 years ago, it has been my privilege to have partnered and worked with many sorts of people from every walk of life presenting with a myriad of struggles and dilemmas. From my perspective, treatment is really about improving one's quality of life. Experience has shown me that with the appropriate amount of support and reality testing, most people are quite capable of addressing their challenges and feeling better about themselves. I prefer using a more traditional psychodynamic approach to treatment which emphasizes providing a positive and encouraging space for people to change.
I prefer working with trauma survivors, chronic depression, and anxiety related disorders. I enjoy working with people from all ages in individual psychotherapy.
