I have a passion for working with clients living with anxiety and depression. I am gifted at working with clients to transition through the grieving process and supporting those who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I am adept at working with women who struggle in their relationships. A licensed psychotherapist and special education teacher, I received my Master's degree in Social Work at Simmons College in Boston and my Master's degree in Special Education at Rhode Island College.
I have worked with clients for the past 35 years and find that I am able to create a safe and trusting environment people to connect with me. My heart-centered warmth and compassionate approach to my work allows my clients to feel understood and seen. People find it easy to be open with me very quickly.
Before opening my private practice, I was an agency therapist doing crisis intervention. I also worked at RIH with the trauma experiences of adults, children and families. If I can be of assistance to you, I look forward to hearing from you.
