Mrs. Sapp is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC), and a Supervising Counselor, SC. Mrs. Sapp is trained in EMDR and is eager to continue her professional development in the area of EMDR with children, adolescents, and teens. Mrs. Sapp enjoys the therapeutic benefit of engaging clients in walk-and-talk therapy while utilizing ACA's facility dogs. Her mission is to empower children, teens, and their families to overcome personal obstacles and improve their quality of life. She is passionate about the impact of counseling during childhood and adolescent years.

Leslie Grant is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 7 years of experience in the mental health field. Leslie has experience working with children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults. She specializes in supporting those experiencing the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, interpersonal difficulties, school difficulties, loss of intimacy, infidelity PTSD, grief, relationship issues, family conflicts, loss, low self-esteem, mood disorders, sexual abuse/issues, and significant life changes. Leslie completed her Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Alabama.

I have been a practicing counselor for the last 20 years and can honestly say I have enjoyed every single day. I am licensed in Alabama as well as Florida and have been certified as not only a Licensed Professional Counselor but also as a Certified Addictions Professional. I believe the challenges we face, although sometimes uncomfortable, teach us valuable lessons about who we are as people and allow us to tap into a strength we often do not realize we possess. Assisting my clients recognizing their strength is a privilege not taken lightly by me.

My approach to therapy utilizes an integrative blend of counseling theory to provide specialized services to a wide variety of patients and patient issues. My goal in therapy is to work in an equal and collaborative relationship with patients to reach his or her goals through empathy, respect, genuineness, and a little humor. I strive to assist patients to work towards identifying challenges or conflicts as well as to find meaning and purpose in life.

I have a public and private background in the field, having worked for non-profit rehabilitation facilities, private practice and judicial drug court systems.
