I work with adults who struggle with depression and anxiety. I help my clients understand themselves and what triggers them, and importantly, I provide skills to help them manage their reactions to the stress and difficulties in their lives.
Some common themes I work with include managing overwhelming stress, setting boundaries; managing change and transition, low self esteem, the impact of childhood neglect/abuse, abusive relationships, and work issues.
I am a relational, psychodynamically trained therapist. I am trained in CBT, EMDR, DBT, Somatic Experiencing and EFT, all of which allow me to integrate approaches that help reduce symptoms quickly and address longer standing patterns that may not be serving you.
