I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in assessment for children and adolescents. I conduct independent school admissions testing, as well as more comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess for learning disorders, ADHD, and developmental delay. The goal of my evaluations is to identify my client's learning style and understand the individual as a whole person. I strive to provide feedback that is thorough, objective, well-reasoned, and understandable. My written reports include straightforward results and practical, solution-focused recommendations for parents and teachers. These reports are often used for educational planning and to request academic support and accommodations.

Welcome! I offer services primarily related to assessment and consultation for children and adults. Evaluations are comprehensive with a focus on various domains of functioning including intellectual, academic, executive functioning, attention, and mood/personality to best understand strengths and areas for improvement. Evaluations are provided for diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, and other neurodevelopmental conditions using evidence-based instruments. Additional areas of testing include learning problems/disabilities, admissions testing, college accommodations, and memory and cognitive decline.

After reviewing many psychoeducational evaluations that failed to identify the needs of children accurately, I developed a holistic approach with a clinical psychologist to offer nuanced & comprehensive evaluations. This approach enables me to gain an accurate understanding of your child's unique nature & complexities to help facilitate a plan for their present/future needs. Evaluations cover all aspects of development & outline needs & capabilities in the home, community, & school settings. Evaluations are also available for college students requesting accommodations.

I have an extensive and unique clinical experience with more than 15 years in inpatient and outpatients settings. I have helped many individuals with assorted emotional problems, including PTSD, mood and adjustment disorders, grief, anger, ADHD, and borderline personality disorder. I also serve as a mental health consultant for childhood and early childhood programs in Fairfax where I provide play therapy for young children with emotional and behavioral problems and parents' consultations.
