Accepting new clients! I work with individuals experiencing life changes big and small. A school or job changes, a new baby, or big move can all be sources of stress and can bring up lots of emotions. I specialize in helping you find and re-find your identity after change. My practice is a safe place to talk about and work on the hardest parts of change and stress. I specialize in working with recent grads, high functioning adults with anxiety and perfectionism, and anyone feeling overwhelmed with life right now. Reaching out is the hardest part, you have made it this far and I am excited to walk with you the rest of the way.
I am a person-centered therapist who utilizes a strengths-based approach to help my clients overcome challenges and gain confidence and peace in their lives. I incorporate CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy to help my clients find their own strengths and build skills to use for the rest of their lives.
Changes can be positive and also bring up some uncomfortable feelings. Anxiety can be a double edged sword that allows you to get a lot done, but can be debilitating when it keeps hanging around. Together you and I will find stability, control and a deeper understanding of your emotions that will help you build the life you want!
