While using Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR and Mindfulness approaches, I provide a nonjudgmental and safe environment to help clients through life's difficulties. I have experience with helping patients process grief and loss, trauma, substance abuse, personality disorders, being on the receiving end of narcissistic abuse and more common concerns such as anxiety/depression.

The connection one makes with their therapist is what makes or breaks the progress that can be made in therapy. I pride myself in my ability to connect with my clients. I work with those experiencing mental health issues, trauma, and addictions. An ideal client would be someone who took suggestions and invested in their own healing. Their needs may include a mood disorder or behavior that they want to change. We would work on their thinking and how that impacts their behaviors. We would also look at their motivations and how to increase their motivations to make better decisions. The goal would be that the client would do what they learn in therapy while living their lives. They would no longer need me to help them through things and would be able to lean on their natural support.

I am the Executive Director of Behavior Therapy Associates (BTA), a Licensed Psychologist & Certified School Psychologist in New Jersey & Pennsylvania, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at the Doctoral level. I have expertise with pre-school aged children through adults, and I provide individual & family therapy, Behavioral Parent Training, & Social Skills Training. I have co-authored a social skills curriculum & behavior problems resource kit. I also provide Executive Coaching.
