Whether you are searching for yourself or a loved one, I understand that this is a difficult time for you and your family. I offer confidential help to the individual and the family affected by substance abuse/addiction and mental health issues. I have been helping individuals with addiction for over 20 years. Through compassionate counseling, interventions and case management, I provide a space to begin the journey of recovery. One of my specialties is working with families whose loved one is resistant to getting help. This is the first step. There is hope!
There are times when families or individuals need several of these services and other times when they only need one. My job is to design a well thought out plan that will get families what they need and provide a roadmap to their healing.
Intervention is an effective tool that families can use to help the loved one suffering from substance use disorder or mental health disorders find their way to recovery. I like to call this a family meeting. Intervening on a loved one is a way for the family to express their care and concern in a compassionate loving way.

Parents Group
This group meets once a week to discuss strategies for dealing with addiction. Families struggling with addiction need support, direction and help to deal with their loved ones disease. This group will also provide education in the disease model as well as tools to take care of themselves during this stressful time.
