I work from a liberation psychology lens, acknowledging the impacts of oppression and historical trauma on mental health. Hello! I am Ella Brown and I specialize in working with children, teens and young adults through many issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. I have experience working with families and younger kiddos as well. It has been my honor to work with vulnerable populations including trans folx, unhoused teens and LGBTQIA+ clients. I am also a board-approved social work supervisor and am actively available to provide organized and ethical supervision for non-independently licensed social workers who need supervised hours. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) , Brain Spotting, Mindfulness Based Emotional Processing, Dialectical behavior and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.
